i just got home to portland, and there was a letter from the xeric foundation, "we regret to inform you..." so i did not receive the grant, oh well i guess....

i finally received the third printing of nahan the caveman yesterday. so thats awesome. i also just got my new foldable usb keyboard (which im actually typing this on now.) its pretty cool, definatly going to take some getting used to the rubber feel and largely spaced keys. dont worry i hae time, because apparenty my MODBOOK order gotpushed all the way back to july 15th. awesome huh? oh well. :)

the local comic shop here in portland asked me to contribute to their SKRULLY fun and draw a variant cover for secret invasion issue one, and here's what i came up with, classic cap and iron man fighting together again kicking some skrull ass.

i had a slinky...i straightened it.
ive got ghostbusters one and two on heavy rotation for some reason right now, and i had to get it out of my system. so here's EGON SPENGLER somewhere between the harold ramis movie version and the blonde cartoon version. i have the greatest idea for what should be ghostbusters 3, and am starting to think ill turn it into a comic. so....maybe that will happen.who ya gonna call?

so the 2nd printing has arrived, i just dropped off twelve copies at casablanca comics so anyone who was lookign for it in town should run on over there and pick up a copy, rick the owner wants to hold the record for most sold in portland, so go help that become true. i think by tomorrow you will see me holding down the window space at the comic store, ive got the whole window! so be sure to walk on over and check it out.going to see indiana jones
